Carry out independent analyses of liquid (petro)chemicals and gases in a laboratory in Botlek Rotterdam. Work from sampling through analysis in a full-time day-shift role.
The role
As a chemical analyst, you will work in the chemical laboratory of our client company in Botlek Rotterdam. You will independently perform a broad range of analyses on liquid (petro)chemicals and gases. You will be responsible for the full process from sampling through analysis and will liaise with the plants where you collect samples.
Work and schedule
- You will use GC, IC, ICP, ICP-MS, AAS, UV-VIS, IR spectrometry, Headspace-GC and various wet-chemistry techniques.
- The role is full-time on day shifts in a small team. You will be in contact with people within and outside the organisation.
Your profile
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Ability to work independently and accurately.
- Completed MLO or HLO education.
- Work or internship experience in a laboratory using instrumental analytical techniques.
