Day-shift laboratory work in Botlek Rotterdam, South Holland. Analyse liquid chemical and petrochemical products and gases, from sample collection to analysis, using instrumental and wet-chemistry techniques.
The role
As a Chemical Analyst, you will work in a laboratory in Botlek Rotterdam, South Holland. You will independently carry out a broad range of chemical analyses on liquid chemical and petrochemical products and gases. You will be responsible for the process from sample collection to analysis and liaise with the plants where you collect samples.
Work and schedule
You will work day shifts in a small, friendly team and interact with a range of people inside and outside the organization.
- Techniques include GC, IC, ICP, ICP-MS, AAS, UV-VIS, IR spectrometry, Headspace-GC and various wet-chemistry methods.
The laboratory is ISO 9001 certified and ISO 17025 accredited.
What you bring
- Good command of Dutch and English.
- Completed MLO or HLO education.
- Work or internship experience with instrumental analytical techniques in a laboratory.
- Ability to work independently and accurately.
