The role
As a Chemical Analyst in Alphen aan den Rijn, you will carry out precise analytical testing and quality control. The role focuses on method development and validation within a team of analysts.
Responsibilities
- Perform HPLC and other chromatographic and spectrometric analyses, and interpret the results.
- Develop and validate analytical methods and prepare protocols to ensure reproducible measurement results.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and carry out preventive maintenance.
- Support product testing and prototype work, and provide analytical support on technical questions from internal stakeholders.
- Document results accurately, conduct quality checks and report findings in line with applicable procedures.
- Work closely with production and R&D.
- Contribute to process improvement and take part in Kaizen sessions and KPI-driven improvement initiatives.
- Work with data from automated sensors and the MES, as well as manual records, and provide supporting evidence for root cause analyses.
