Join our client’s laboratory in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht as an analytical chemistry analyst. Perform GC and LC analyses on water and soil, monitor quality and deadlines, and work rotating shifts when required.
The role
You will work as an analytical chemistry analyst in our client’s laboratory in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht, as part of a team of analysts. You will perform analyses including GC-FID, GC-MS and LC-UV/Flu. You will analyse PAHs, mineral oil and volatile compounds in water and soil. You will monitor quality and the progress of analyses, and help ensure delivery deadlines are met.

- You have completed an HLO laboratory qualification and are at the start of your career.
- You are customer- and results-oriented, with a strong focus on quality.
- You are an enthusiastic team player, flexible and able to handle pressure.
- You take initiative and learn quickly.
- Experience with chromatographic techniques is an advantage.
- You are willing to work rotating shifts when required.
Schedule and benefits
This is a full-time position of 38.5 hours per week, with flexible working hours and rotating shifts when needed.
Travel expenses are reimbursed, with public transport costs covered in full. You receive at least 25 days of annual leave.
