The role
At a client company in Waalwijk, Noord-Brabant, you will work as an all-round laboratory technician in a production environment. You will perform chemical and microbiological analyses on product samples, prepare analytical results and certificates, and enter data into an automated registration system.
Responsibilities
- Collect and examine reference samples and conduct environmental monitoring.
- Check process equipment and tank trucks for cleanliness, and calibrate measuring equipment.
- Support project research and contribute to improvements in quality processes.
- Prepare basic reports, carry out root-cause analyses and use dashboards to track trends. Some data is received automatically through sensors and the MES; other data is entered manually.
- Take technical responsibility for small laboratory projects and support scheduling and budget monitoring.
Working environment
You will be part of a small laboratory team and coordinate daily with production, QA and maintenance. The production environment is geared towards a limited range of variants and high volumes. Continuous improvement is supported by Lean principles, kaizen sessions, KPI boards and short daily meetings.
