The role
As an All-round Laboratory Technician, you carry out chemical and microbiological analyses on (water) samples in line with procedures and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- You set up samples for culture, monitor growth and enter the results in the LIMS.
- You monitor stocks of reagents and consumables and order supplies in consultation with the laboratory manager.
- You maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and carry out routine maintenance.
- You flag deviating results, discuss them with colleagues and take corrective action.
