The role
At our client company in Apeldoorn, you will work as an all-round laboratory technician testing asphalt and road-construction materials. Your work contributes to assessing the quality of road pavement structures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare test specimens and test setups.
- Work with a range of equipment and apply different testing techniques.
- Determine the required procedures based on the specifications and carry out the necessary steps.
- Perform a variety of tests.
- Identify notable findings and report them to your supervisor.
Work location and hours
This is an on-site role in Apeldoorn for 32–40 hours per week. No specific shift pattern is stated.
What you bring
- Experience in a laboratory environment and an interest in road-construction materials.
- A completed technical MBO level 4 qualification; civil engineering, laboratory technology or a related field is preferred.
- Integrity, care for order and cleanliness, accuracy, and an affinity for standards and quality.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills, a customer-friendly approach, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to attend internal and external courses and training.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A good command of spoken and written Dutch.
- Availability for 32–40 hours per week and a category B driving licence.
