Carry out routine analyses using a range of laboratory techniques, handle samples and report results in LIMS. Full-time role in Veendam; relevant laboratory experience and MBO Chemistry (MLO level 4) are required.
The role
As an all-round analyst, you carry out routine analyses in line with procedures. Techniques include XRF, ICP, PSD, titrations, BET, UV-VIS and IR spectrometry.
You take samples and handle sample receipt. You report analytical results in LIMS and flag noteworthy details. You also prepare samples for analysis by external laboratories. You resolve minor issues with analytical equipment yourself.
You contribute to drafting analytical and operating procedures or make suggestions for them.
What you bring
- MBO Chemistry (MLO level 4).
- Several years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Dutch and English language skills are an advantage.
- A correct and proactive approach, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically.
